These four-ingredient chicken fajitas are easy to make and family approved. All you need is one onion thinly sliced into rings, two bell peppers cut in half lengthwise before slicing them thin then crossways about 1/2 inch thick; 8 ounces of boneless skinless chicken breasts diced or strips depending on your preference; and a packet of taco seasoning mix (or homemade marinade).

Once you are finished prepping all of the ingredients, it’s time to get cooking! First, heat one tablespoon olive oil in a skillet on medium-high. Then add sliced peppers and onions until they begin to soften about four minutes. Add chicken strips along with garlic salt and taco seasoning (ingredients: chili powder 1 tsp., oregano ½ tsp.). Cook for another six minutes stirring periodically so that everything is cooked evenly then remove from stovetop into serving dish. Serve fajitas immediately over tortillas or rice topped off with some sour cream or guacamole if desired!
